I have the BT 150 baby monitor for DS and wanted the same again for DD, so I bought one from a lady on Dubizzle. The flamin' thing doesn't work :(. So now I need to get another monitor, but I really wanted the same one! Can anyone suggest one that's really similar? The BT 150 is discontinued in the UK and I don't like the look of the replacement model.

arrgghh seems as though Boots has discontinued it too, looks like ebay is the only option. Maybe someone on there will be selling them new as overstock from them being discontinued in the shops?? Hope you find one

To be fair she's been really good - she's offered to see if she can get it to work and if not give us the cash back, so I just need to get myself round to her house (easier said than done at the moment!). I searched and the only place I found any was eBay, but will have a look at Boots now. Ta :).

I am sure there are still some 150's for sale in the UK, have you done a Google search? I think I got my last one off the Boots website. Have you called the Dubizzle lady and got a refund as she shouldn't be selling broken goods!

We have a BT100 that I was thinking of selling....interested? You can control it from the parent unit, turning volume up or down, music on and talk to baby. Is still in use but was going to sell as weare packing up to moveend Dec so happy to let you have it bit earlier. Will say that if the parent unit is not in the charger, it doesnt hold is charge for cery long now (probably only an hour or two). Anyway if interested let me know sl_13 at live dot com Thanks so much but we really want the 150 :(. You're most welcome, Glitzi. Glad you like it!

Not selling our BT 150 but I often think of you - DubaiCat when we use ours. Thanks for helping me bring it from UK. It really is a great monitor...sad to know that it has been discontinued. Hope you find one soon. edited by Glitzi on 21/11/2011

Ah no, you can just hear the baby when they wake, that's it. Range is great.

Thanks :). The BT one lets you control the baby unit from the parent unit - does the Bebecom one do that? And what's the range like, and does it have a lullaby? Sorry, too many questions :(. I really didn't expect the one I bought not to work so I'm stumped!

We had a couple of Avent monitors - both were useless. At the recommendation of Green-ish we bought a cheapie Bebecom from Life Pharmacy (seen in Union Co-Op too/about 150dhs) and it's brilliant! No swooshy functions, but I could never really figure out what they were for anyway ;)
