Hi Jen130212 I thing you can find it mainly in hospitals i also think you do need a prescription You can also get someone to bring it form the UK or Ireland. when we needed it, we could not find it here to start with even in hospitals, but our doctor ( Dr Talal in Farha clinic) prescribed it and as he is a consultant registered in the UK, his UK prescription was accepted in pharmacies in England. that was very helpful.

Hi All, My little one also suffers from very bad silent reflux. We saw many doctors, including Dr Khan who is very well recommended on all forums from Cooper Clinic, though no one really paid much attention as my son was gaining good weight. He suffered a lot and then I went to see Dr Rania at Infinity Health Clinic. If anyone has children suffering from reflux would highly recommend you see her...she is brilliant and her son had reflux so will understand the pain both parents and the child is going through. I found Baby Gaviscon at American Hospital. It's also available at City Hospital in Dubai. Nexium seems to be working for us, but you have to wait at least 10 days to see the results...now I have a happy baby :) We hated the Aptamil AR formula. We are now on Hipp Organic which my son loves, plus the Gaviscon and Nexium. Good luck.

I looked when I thought my little one had silent reflux but it's not available here apparently. I went to the paediatrician and he prescribed Nexium which reduces the stomach acid so there is not as much to come back up. I decided against giving meds and she seems to have grown out of it by 3/4 months (if she even had it at all). Even in the UK you need a prescription but you can buy it on Amazon so could perhaps get it 'shop and shipped'?
