I've seen 3 people with it here and even stalked one person who allowed me to try it out ;) I loved it. It's just like the pictures! Was really easy to push around, so have ordered mine online and by chance had a friend who is going to the states so she's going to bring it back for me. Can't wait for it to arrive won't be till August though :(

Again, I am so happy with ours... but it is really disappointing that my 2years and 5 months DS doesnt want to sit in it and wants to keep walking around :( yet it is really useful when he is tired and sleeping.. I love it :D

Hi Alimart, I thought I had this one sorted too with the P&Ts but like the look of this city select too. its alot of money to fork out without actually seeing it in real life isn't it? My SIL is coming over in April (a month before due date) so thats an option for me although no doubt it will be hassle for her. I will be like a stroller stalker in the malls again over the coming weeks checking every double stroller I see out ... thanks for name of company that will ship here, I will check them out in the mean time. Will keep you posted if I see any. Cheers, Curly

Hi Curly, I remember our first dd's are the same age and I'm also due in June. We were also set on the Phil and Teds until I found this one. I have finally found a place in New Zealand (!!) that will ship to Dubai, called Winkalotts but the shipping will be about US$ 265 so still a lot. We are thinking that my dh might go over to the UK for a weekend and buy the pram as we would have had to do that for the P&T anyway and then he can have a look at it before buying. I've been keeping my eyes open to see if anybody has one around the malls but haven't seen one so far!

Hi there only starting to research double strollers/buggies now, second baby due in June by which time DD will be 20 months. Had thought of getting the Phil and Teds due to recommendations of two friends who both use them but now am looking at this City Select. Would love to see one in reality before deciding on buying though. Looking at them online its hard to see exactly how they work though or am i not seeing what i should see? Are they back to back or side to side? OK maybe I need to do some further investigation ... will keep an eye on this thread for updates

ishinami, ours will be pretty much the same age, they will be 20 months apart. My friend is due in 2 weeks and hers are also 20 months apart so this pram just looks perfect. We have phoned mothercare, who wont help with a one off pram that they don't stock here. I've also tried Aramex but they are going to charge AED 3,300 to ship it here (more than the pram costs!) I think my husband will just have to go over to the UK before June and bring it back. Thanks JulesLC will let you know about your one, I looked at that one in MC the other day and it also looks great.

Whatever you decide, ie new or not, it's an excellent double stroller, was invaluable on our travels, make sure you get the travel bag as well if youre planning to go on flights!

I'm in the same position as some of you. LO will be 22 months when this next one arrives, and am keen to get the Baby Jogger City Select based on online reviews. We are back in the UK in April so am thinking of buying then and bringing back to Dubai with me. Due to time constraints and as we wouldn't have a buggy with us, we'd need to order before seeing and have it as soon as we arrive in the UK. I would however love to have a look at one before purchasing online. Will any of you lovely ladies have one before mid April which I could have a look at please??

Hi Alimart Someone will bring the pram for me but I checked re shipping and it still would have worked out about 40GBP cheaper to have it shipped. You also need to check the weight of the pram - the citi mini is a side by side and packaged weight is 15kg i think - not sure how much the citi select weighs but think it is a sturdier pram system so may be more and may be worth checking that someone can bring it in their luggage allowance! Might be worth checking if anyone from here can help? Some people have husbands who go on very short trips and don't have luggage and lots of the ladies are very helpful - I have had someone bring something fro me from the US before but guess it can also be a bit risky if it is someone you don't know. Good luck, UK offer much better deals for prams and it is such a pain buying from here!

A friend of mine and I are trying to order the city select but the shipping to here from the US or UK is costing more than the pram!! We are thinking of flying my sister over here from the UK to bring them as it will be cheaper!
