My cat, female, 1.5yrs old, tabby coloured; brown - light and dark and white, called Daphne went missing from Marina Residence on the Palm on Sunday night. Could you please keep your eyes peeled for her - she is exceptionally nervous, wearing a black collar with an orange municipality tag. She is very fluffy and looks like a cat with a home, she's a bit fat, but quite small in actual size. IF you see her please let me know. Many thanks,
Daisy

Just so you know, I have found Daphney! Found her a few buildings down from us sat under a chair in the same apartment as our just another building. Exceptionally pleased to see me, very dirty, a bit thinner (was definitely needed), and eternally grateful! Thanks for all your support! Daisy x

I live on The Green Community and one of my cats went missing, was so upsetting, so I know how you must be feeling, they are part of the family! We were having lots of work done in the house, think it upset him so 'off' he went! Had posters everywhere, vets informed etc..was out looking and calling his name every day! Really thought he had gone for good!! Then, 10 days later, 9pm he came home, God knows where he had been! He was starving, collar lost, really dirty and little skinny, but all in all very well and very pleased to come home! I am sure she will turn up soon! Dont give up, go out everyday and keep calling her name, she may hear it! I think what happened to my cat was he went off for a 'walk' lost him way and eventually found his way back, maybe the 'name calling' worked, who knows, but it wont do any harm!! Good luck! ;) edited by kittycatrocks on 05/01/2011

I'm sure you have done this, but make sure you tell all the lifeguards, security guards etc that you will give them a reward if they find her. We lost our cat earlier this year. We think she scampered down the fire escape when the maid left the door open... She turned up three days later by the pool, and was a bit dirty but otherwise very happy when one of the lifeguards found her and called us. The first thing our kitten did was run up and start licking her bottom! Good luck, I'm sure you will get her back safe and sound. :)

Thanks guys, I'm in 2, have spoken to security in every building and they have checked all the cameras. Someone thought they saw a cat like her last night at oceana - so have been down there. Don't really know what else to do... Can't for the life of me imagine what it would be like loosing a child; this is just horrendous. The other cat I have has come down with a huge bout of cat 'depression' and is just sat in his basket glaring at the wall, not much fun in my household at the moment! Please please let me know if you see her. 0 5 0 8 5 4 3 5 9 6 Thanks,

I will keep an eye out.. we live on the 1,2,3 side. I did see the Missing poster by the lift w/ a number torn off. I hope you are able to find your kitty soon. I will also talk w/ the life guard and tell him to keep an eye out as well.
