Hi
My sister is due to have a baby boy in 3 weeks! Any unique or creative gift ideas, don't want to just do clothes ect.
I also have a Tiffany/ damas voucher for 5k....didn't like anything at Tiffany.
they live abroad so won't see her until baby is 5 weeks old.
What do you wish you had received?!

How about paying for a photographer to do a newborn shoot and buying some lovely tiffany photo frames to put the photos in. ...[quote'> Giant "Like" for this idea! ...and for the delivered meals. There's nothing quite like the utter exhaustion of the first few months with a newborn and not having to think about dinner is utterly priceless. I had PND after the birth of my first child. My husband saw it before I did and because he worked long, long hours he arranged home delivered meals for a short time for us and I honestly felt it was a lifesaver! <em>edited by Green-ish on 05/01/2011</em>

I like the meals idea! I cooked and froze loads of food before DD arrived and this saved me on the days that I just coudnt have faced cooking so hot meals delivered sounds great! These practical things for me would have been great! Depending on where she lives how about paying for someone to come in and help her around the house for a few hours a week? Clean, mop and load the washing machine with the mountain of bibs and babygrows that tiny little people manage to create. When you have the first pic of baby order her Thank You cards with a pic of baby on the front. I would have loved this, I had so many cards to send and not enough time or energy to personalise them. A voucher for a manicure/pedicure/massage from baby with the promise that you will look after the LO when you are over so she can go have it. Everyone gives presents to the baby which is natural and lovely but the mummy has just loving looked after the baby for 9 months and could now do with some pampering and looking after herself.

The item that I did receive and LOVE (or I should say baby loves it) was the Glow Seahorse: http://smartmomma.com/Fisher-Price-Ocean-Wonders-Soothe-Glow-Seahorse-Pink-p-19225.html It's very soothing for getting baby to sleep Another item I wish I received is the rainforest jumperoo: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2508003&CAWELAID=107501555 It is fantastic and my DD LOVES it!
