I ordered a gadget from the UK and it said 'international signed for delivery'...
...around 7GBP extra..not thinking clearly/thinking courier I placed actual address in the delivery...but it seems they sent royal mail (for the price now quite obviously)...so knowing post doesn't come to the door here...where am I going to find it...royal mail tracking says in the UAE now....

where do I begin to look for it - karama PO?? as assume it won't come to the door?? I am right in this assumption, yes?

i did the same thing years ago, put the street address and not the PO Box as thought it was going to be couriered - Empost surprised me and actually delivered to my PO box - obviously had my name in the system.... no PO Box on the package at all... was quite amazed to say the least. you are right Izzy! they track addresses with your mobile number that you provide. as long you didn't change address and mobile #.

You can contact Emirates Post, give them the track # of your parcel, then they will tell you where is it. It happen to me before Xmas. HTH

I did the same and contacted Karama post office. The lady told me if mail arrives here without the post box number on it then it gets sent back to the sender the very next day.

your address usually in the uae is your po box whether thats a company one, or you pay money for a private one, they dont deliver to physical addresses.
