I wish they would take my kids lilo and giant rubber ring out of my garage im fed up of them especially when they blow allover and you cant park your car !!! I Love living in this villa but hate the lack of storage, i mean where are you supposed to put all of your belongings? i have no junk in mine ( except for said inflatables) but my neighbours do and its all on show! Bad design for sure, sorry forgot to mention the one cupboard under stairs!

We are in Saheel and have had an outside hose taken from the side of the garage. With 4 bikes and a mountain of other stuff in our garage I am constantly telling the rest of my family not to leave the garage door open. They think I'm mad. Oh no! Tell them about this thread...Unfortunately Alma has no closed garages :(

apparently they smash as much as they can and they try to set fire to them. They also urinate in them and other things. Knowing this you have to wonder why people leave them unlocked. It's hardly going to be an attractive rental proposition in that state!

I live on Alma and security is pretty tight on here I have never known anything go missing from garages, maybe a coincidence , but today my terriers were barking and a gas company were sticking those dreaded stickers advertising their number allover my gas cupboards and front door ! It makes me furious when they glue them on your property, I have never known them to stick them on your front door, could they have taken bottle? As you point out the deposit is worth a bit, I have name of the company if you want it ( I'm still unpicking the stickers ) you could maybe ask security about the time they were on here and compare the time it went missing? Thanks. Unfortunately it could have been any time as I didn't notice it missing immediately but thanks

Its funny you should mention it though because the other night there was a gang of about 6 teenagers coming onto here ( i noticed as i nearly ran them over as they cockily walked down middle of the road) and i did think it strange as its not something you see her ( as opposed to in UK), as Sue says nearly all the properties that are empty are unlocked i remember when we were looking for a property, its common knowledge that the ones with a board outside have the maids door open 9 times out of 10 i looked round loads unoficially when Alma was new!

loads of empty properties are left unlocked anyway...but should they be trashed? These kids brag about it at school. just replying to your comment that they "break in", of course it's not right.

I have heard stories about kids in AR who enjoy 'moving' stuff around for kicks, plus they like to break into empty properties and trash them. Apparently this is their weekend activity.

Just to add , it would be pretty easy for them to take bottle right? As it would not be exactly easy to stroll past security with a bottle, unless you had them on truck anyway ! Just a thought !

Things that have been nicked from our garage...even hidden away, in cupboards etc. * a bbq *the coal for bbq * on loan packing boxes * our house number *our outside hose *plants oh, etc etc. If it aint nailed down it'll be pinched, despite the courtesy recycling rule of stuff out by your bin. Interestingly enough, no one has bothered to pinch our flaming truck.

Just to let u know - today we realised a gasbottle which we had put right beside the Gasbottlecabinet (yes, I know, maybe we should have put it INSIDE the cabinet but we didn't) - INSIDE our garage area, on the wall where the back door is - and realised today it was gone!!!! Not sure how long it was gone - only realised today. Had paid quite a hefty deposit for it, so annoyed about that but also worried that it seems you can't leave stuff in your garage area safely!!! What a shame.
