Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner stays on all day (use with an eyeliner brush). Also like Chanel's gel eyeliner (not sure it's called that) - it comes in a pen-like applicator but has a brush. I have bought it more than once and will buy it again. Think the Bobbi Brown lasts longer, but both are great!

bobby brown has the best eyeliner gels, but they aren't pencil. best pencil? I think the Urban Decay pencils are amazing, true to color and not harmful to my skin. they don't rub off after application either, where you draw the line, that is where the line stays till you take it off. and where can i find them? at paris gallery?

MAC does a liquid eyeliner that stays on like glue and you can only get it off with oil or vaseline.

Fit-In Eyes Gel Eyeliner from Missha. Easy to apply, usable on inner and outer lid, not tested on animals.

The eye-liner tip that changed my life... Buy a small fine (stiff) eyeliner brush which is slighly slanted and use it to line your eyes with Mac black eyeshadow. Seriously I tried almost every eyeliner out there trying to find one which would last all day/night. After seeing my friends eyeliner not budging all night (and even still on in the morning when it was a really late one) this is how she told me she did it - and I've never looked back. I even find its easier to apply, takes seconds and you can build up as much or as little as you want. Best of all you don't then need to buy different eyeliner colours ever again as you can just use your variety of eyeshadow colours and line with any of them! It gives the same effect as kohl too. This is what I do though I tend to use the eyeliner brush for day wear and a normal eye brush for thicker liner for evening. Much easier to apply. :)

This works well for white/fair skinned people. But someone like me who has darker indian skin, it doesnt show up. Need to use darker paint type products for anything to show up :) Oh and Kacey, Mikyajy has a eyeliner brush which is even easier to use than te slanted brush. Check it out. :) edited by shaf on 09/01/2011

I usualyl dont get out of the house without eyeliner..use it pretty much everyday, all weathers.. have tried many many of them.. I line the upper lides, below the eyes and the waterline. :D So this is my very experienced two bits: 1 - Prestige waterproof eyeliner in Carbon Black - Cheapest and the best till date - Stays on my eyes all day! Altho i have to reapply on the waterline every 5-7hrs. This is my fav fav fav by far! 2 - Loreal Contour Resist - 3 times the price of Prestige, but the same thing. 3 - Colorstay revlon - Some people like it, but i find it dries my eyes terribly. Honestly i hate it. MAC - TechnaKohl - Exorbitant! But does the job.. 4 - MAC Fluidline - Ok this isnt a pencil, its a pot of paint and u need a brush. U can also do the waterline altho they say u shudnt. Its excellent when u have atleast 10mins to apply it properly and stays longer than prestige also! :) And cheaper than Technakohl if i am not mistaken. And the color is very intense and doesnt budge. Weird info: I am gonna be in labor next month with my second baby, and i am hoping i will have fluidline on before my labor begins.. now that will be the ultimate test of all!!! :D Maybe i shud have one eye with prestige and one eye with fluidline... hmmm!!! Sorry ladies, pregnancy hormones!! :D HTH! :)

I use clinique black diamond - it's slightly glittery so not solid black, so looks better than black black with my colouring - find it stays on all day. That sounds nice, where do you buy it from? TIA. :) Any clinique stand - department stores, faces, Areej etc

MAC black karat seems to get the best reviews. http://www.makeupalley.com/product/searching.asp?CategoryID=103&brandname=&Brand=&title=Kohl&submit=Find+Products

Makeup Forever Aqua Eyes comes out well in surveys I have looked at online. Also the Sephora Waterproof ones were rated well....I bought the latter one, but haven't used it yet. I have a Lancome one at the moment which is just too hard and hurts my eyes, so the 2 mentioned are softer to apply and the Sephora one has a smudger.....I don't have a very steady hand for the gel ones, such as Mac/BB.. edited by chizz on 09/01/2011
