Plumie, Even i thought about getting him a book and yesterday spent about an hour in MOE browsing through Borders and Jashanmal bookstore....didnt find anything good but ended up getting "the Dude's guide to pregnancy". Even tough he is not the reader kind, so dont know if he will even read or not ! I just googled "what to expect when your wife is expanding" and read few bits and liked it alot...hope i can find it somewhere as believe it or not i had a heck of a time finding " what to expect when you are expecting"....... Didnt have energy to go to Dubai Mall, so ended up buying a 3 pack onesie set, in which two says " I love Mommy" and " I love Daddy"....Planning to give this book and I love Daddy onesie on the occasion....still more suggestions are welcome... Do we get Itzbeen in Dubai ??:\:

A book? DH has read so many books on pregnancy, but all written from a "man's perspective" and in words which they can understand ;) Light hearted and funny! The Blokes Guide to Pregnancy What to Expect when you Wife is Expanding Fatherhood - The Truth Or his own "special" burp cloth? I bought DD a onesie from H&M which says "I Love Dad" with matching socks! DH loves it when she wears it, he almost has that proud look upon his face! It's unisex as it is in white with red and black writing on it! When i was in H&M a few days ago they still had in stock! If DH is into gadgets, i bought DH an Itzbeen. It has a button for diaper, feeding, sleeping and one for any meds which you may need to give. So it tracks the minutes/hours since you last did any of those. DH loves it as men can be very hap-hazard when it comes to these things, so whenever i ask "when last was DD changed" he pulls out the Itzbeen ;) [url=http://www.itzbeen.com/'>Itzbeen[/url'>

Did my DH/ DS matching T-shirts in Dubai Mall - ground floor. On the DH's I wrote 'Pint' and DS's 'Half Pint'. They were so cute... Since it's a little early for this message and strange if it's a girl :) maybe somthing saying 'World's best dad' or 'Dad/ father in training' edited by pancakemum on 10/01/2011

Hmm what about a little onesie of his favourite sporting team colour, with 'future (whatever the team name is) in training - or supporter' printed on the front... obviously you won't know the gender of your baby yet .. but kind of a cute idea if he is into that sort of thing... edited by TanyaR on 09/01/2011
