You have to go to the Night Zoo- awesome. Also Lo Pa Sat for hawker food is good. Also agree with Dempsey Hill recommendation- Disgruntled Chef restaurant is great.

Go to Dempsey Hill -- great restaurants and art galleries, etc.

If you're staying at the Marina Bay Sands you need to go to the rooftop infinity pool and get someone to take your photo! We've been up and had a look, but not swum (that's only available to guests staying at the hotel). Soooo cool!!!

Dependant on what you are looking at doing - and your age - Robertson Quay is a great place to chill out

I just saw them in a supermarket yesterday but I can't remember which one. In SIngapore you can buy them in every corner.

Almost forgot. Don't forget to take an umbrella. It's very wet there this time of the year.

Staying at the Marina Bay Sands is already a really good thing, this is one of the main attractions of the city now. Don't forget about Orchard Road, the main shopping street and the heart of the city. The SIngapore flyer is also great and very close to your hotel. If you are looking for interesting shopping experience look for Bugis Village. It's a huge covered market.

marina bay sands - how fabulous, am v jealous! jump on their big bus tour - it's fab. takes you round chinatown, little india. chinatown is great, i bought some fab dresses there. the night zoo is worth a visit, loved it. it's very easy to get around on foot and very safe so you can just get out and enjoy the streets and the people!

I second Chinatown, Raffles and Clarke Quay (you can walk into Chinatown from Clarke Quay about 10mins max). Clarke Quay is great for seafood. Can't believe I've just had to turn down a trip there this weekend or I would have offered to show you around. enjoy

Do the bum boat trip and explore Clarke Quay and Boat Quay. Chinatown is also worth a visit. Raffles is fab and you can actually walk around without having to purchase anything! Lots of fabulous restaurants and also cheap hawker stalls. The metro system is excellent - make the most of it an enjoy!

I'm going to Singapore tomorrow night (mainly for business) but i will have about a day and a half to do what i want. I'll be staying at Marina Bay Sands, so can anyone recommend things i should do in such little time...as i've never been to Singapore and not sure when i'll be going back....cheers!
