Hi ladies!

Anybody knows which insurance is best and affordable? My husband's company do not provide insurance rather they are just giving allowance for the medical which is just around 300 AED per month. Can anyone give me an advise please which Insurance and how much are you paying?

Thanks!

The best medical insurance that you can go for is oman insurance as they are very good at their service and they even provide you customization on your insurance coverage depending on your requirement.

I would like to suggest the Oman Insurance Company. They offer the best Health Insurance in UAE. You can buy medical insurance online as well. For more log on to https://www.omaninsurance.ae/Individuals/Health

Daman they have affordble prices
Daman ijust quoted us 167.000aed to renew our health insurance! We are a small family of 3 only me, my husband and my 9 years old. We have been with Daman since so many years before my kid was born. My husband had some health issues last year so Daman just quoted us an exorbitant amount of 167.000 to renew this year! Shame.... the insurance company accepts you only when you’re healthy!

Thanks ladies, really a great assistance. At the moment me & my son do have an insurance from my company as I am still working but I am planning to resign for a while soon to look after our son & we'll be needing a family insurance. It will be great if we can have an insurance which will also be covered outside the country. I hope some ody could give me an estimate price per head if we'll get for 3?

i have a Alico gold card provided by DH's company.. so far Alico is very good with approvals and gets them within 1-2 days and i had a lots of tests done in last 8 months. doctor's also say that Alico is best for getting approvals.

We get ALICO (silver) through DH's company - you could try them - I assume they deal with individuals, as well as companies.....we have never had a problem with them. I don't think Alico handles individual covers, but I could be wrong. ETA: I've just checked online and Alico now have a new individual product: Metlife Alico.

That would depend on what you're looking for; whether you need to be covered for the UAE only, whether you travel often and need to be covered for the places you travel to, whether you have children, planning ot have others, whether you want dental, optical and/ or pre-existing conditions covered. As aline_JLT has mentioned, Daman is good, check out Bupa, AXA, Goodhealth, Aviva, Cigna, Allianz, etc for international covers
