Aaaargh!!!!!

Requested 2 recording TV boxes, got none! Requested phone line, apparently I've got it but can't check it out as no phone was left and which Etisalat later informed me I should have got! Requested fax line, er nope that isn't in the engineer's area, go figure!!!!. Asked for internet access throughout the house..... er no! Only available downstairs! Requested upgraded TV programme selection and can't even get Sky News!!! Now come on, everybody gets Sky News!!!!

And since 27th December, when I first ordered all of this, all I keep being told is "it will take 2 working days"!!!!!!

OK rant over and sorry for having to vent on here!

I beg to differ Babyrat. Whilst Etisalat seem to be more reasonable in terms of costs, I never had an issue with Du regarding installation. I did have to laugh yesterday as the Etisalat technician yesterday was going to have exposed extension cables running along the floor downstairs until I put my foot down and he made the Einstein suggestion of possibly drilling through walls to put the wires through!!!!! Only in Dubai!!!!!

It probably will only take 2 working days. They've just not told you WHICH 2 working days..... Lol! Probably 2 days in May ?

If its any consolation I find Etisalat alot more helpful and efficient than DU.

hahaha two working days is their favourite. i had many problems when we changed from al shamil to elife double. they changed it over no probs but they reduced our email storage from 500mb to 10mb, instead of upgrading to 2gb..... it took many visits to their office like every other day, and many calls to 101 and each time they log the complaint on top of the complaint and keep telling me 2 days.... i keep making sure complaint gets logged to the manager, and they ring me back and i get it sorted......... give them ear ache nicely! they are much better than years ago tho!

Totally feeling your pain had same with du a year ago we had a fibre op connection prob that went on and on and on , I used to literally have tears running down my face with frustration after I'd hung up the phone for the 40th day running ! That's if my du mobile didnt lose it's signal sorting the landline out ! Don't know the answer just to say I Feel your pain sister :(
