Question about the Palm.

A friend's daughter is coming over to stay at the Atlantis, I think for the shopping festival. She is asking if the monorail goes from the Palm to the Mall (presumably MoE or Dubai Mall). It doesn't, does it? My inclination is to say get a taxi, anyhow! Does anyone have a more useful answer than that, please? TIA.
