Great VBAC experience at City hosp
Our lovely baby Mia arrived Feb 15 at 5am! A chubby sausage of 3.89 kilos :-)
It was a completely successful VBAC! yeah! Exactly what I was hoping for.
I cannot recommend Dr Elsa enough and the nursing staff in labour and delivery. I arrived at 3am with some mild contractions and was left given free reign to do as I pleased - which for me was a terribly long hot shower and a bit of singing :-) At the last minute I discovered the Gas and air....Thank heavens! and then had a totally natural delivery at 5am.
Recovery for me was a bit rough (some bleeding issues from my wimpy uterus) but i recieved the best care i believe was possible and all turned out fine.
So for any of you who are good candidates for VBAC but are hesitant... GO FOR IT! IT CAN BE DONE!!!!
