I use high dosage evening primrose oil 1000mg every day and really works but have to take for a few weeks to start to see the results.

One of those homeopathic remedies (I think that's what you call them). Dr Smylie recommended it for PND and it seemed to stabilise the PMS as well. You can get it in those stores that sell supplements - I can't remember the name of them right now though. My GP at home said my hormones would still be all over the place while I was still BF and that would contribute to both the PND and PMS.

Dubaicat, excuse my ignorance but what is St John's wort? I am still BFing, so maybe that's why it's so bad now. I Bfed my no 1 too, but didn't feel this way. Just can't be bothered to exercise...:(

I thought it was just me! Mine was awful when I was still BF but since I stopped, it seems to have eased a bit. I'm still super-cranky before a period, though, and get upset really easily and have no patience whatsoever. I found taking St John's Wort helped when it was really bad, but I haven't tried anything else yet. Exercise also helps make me feel more positive, too.

Since I had my 2nd child, I get very bad PMS. I feel totally down, very cranky, strange back pain and feel like throwing up for a few days (sometimes a week). I am not taking any pills or anything. I never had these problems before... Did this happen to anyone? What can I do/take to feel better apart from medications? Don't want to rush off to the doctor without trying natural remedies. Thanks ladies.
