The website has far more info than the catalogue I have - no mention of recline positions in the catalogue but the website says it has several. So there you go! Hope you find one :).

Hiya yep contacted the seller and she didn't answer the phone, so sent her a txt message and no reply. I realise it's my fault for not checking it properly but it's so annoying. I have to throw it out now coz not sure if it hasn't been in an accident and wouldn't feel comfortable selling it on to someone else since I don't know the history. :( That seems as if seller knew the seat was not complete. Will stay away from dubizzle I think. When do you need the seat? If I find a pebble, you could have mine, 2 times used but LO doesn't sit comfortable in it.

Did you contact the seller? Maybe just a mistake? Never bought from dubizzle, only through contacts from here. I think Mines a pebble - black though, as it was the only colour available when we got it - used for one baby, the only thing "wrong" with it is a 4 cm cut in the fabric, that the airline did. Let me know if you are interested. You can email me on . Thanks. Added: Removed email. Pls let me know when I shall publish my email address again. edited by Kermi on 12/03/2011

Hey Kermi - we bought the pebble. Just checked it was 815 for the seat and 745 for the family fix base in Honda. Haven't played around with it yet but I do believe it has a few recline positions and a few other features the cabrio fix doesn't have. http://www.maxi-cosi.com/ot-en/carseats/baby/pebble

I don't think I've seen the Pebble on there but it's worth checking often as so many new items are added each day. Are you sure it's not the Pearl you're thinking of, though? I have the Maxi Cosi catalogue here and it doesn't say anything about the Pebble having more than one recline position. Thanks - I checked Rentacrib and it's 228dhs for 11 days including delivery service, so I thought I might just see if I can find one to buy any cheaper so we can take it home and use it for holidays with DS. If not I'll definitely be renting from them, though.

DubaiCat, I have the cabrio fix, but LO is not comfortable in it. Basically, the chin is pressed against the chest. Was told that the pebble has several recline positions, so want to give it a try. Did you see the pebble on dubizzle? For your sister's visit, did you check rent a crib website? They have also car seats for hire.

sydneygal, did you buy the pebble or the cabrio fix? 715 or 815 sounds a very fair price for the pebble, checked online prices and found the pebble more expensive than the cabrio fix.

I think there are a few on Dubizzle at the moment but yes, be careful. I went to look at a toddler/child seat for when my sister's here next week and the lady tried to tell me the seat was meant to be used with a normal seat belt - it was missing the shoulder/crotch straps. The Cabriofix is pretty much the same as the Pebble and also fits in the Familyfix base. It was the model sold before the Pebble came out.

Hey Kermi, We bought ours in the Honda garage on Sh Z road - they are cheaper there than anywhere else I've seen, although colours are limited. I think it was something like 815 or 715 (family fix base was around that price too, just can't remember which item was which price) compared to places like Just Kidding where they are approx 1200... HTH
