We have not bought many toys or activity related stuff for our DS who will be turning 4 months soon. So before I head out shopping,,,would love to hear which have been your Lo's favourites?

Space constraint is a major problem so would rather get 2-3 great products which hopefully he fancies for a few months atleast rather than getting too many.

Jumperoo/Activity Centres/Exersaucer/bumbo are the ones I have seen most discussed. Any views?

Thanks!

Glitzi, if you are still looking for a jumperoo, I have a friend who has one and willing to sell. Let me know. I am not Glitzi but if Glirzi doesnt want it I have been looking for 2 months now and would really like to buy it from your friend. Yasmin, I would buy the jumperoo sometime next month when DS will turn 4 months so if you wish you can take Tahms's offer! Great! thanks Glitzi, Tahm u have mail! x Yasmine, I haven't got your mail yet. Please check the spelling.

Please email me at dubaifrom at gmail dot com and I will give you her number. She wants to sell it for 300 dhs. She doesn't want to put up her email address in public, which is why I put mine.

The best and most useful toy that we had for LO at that age was an activity A frame for nappy changing and batting practice. There are lots out there but ours was particularly good because the links were removable so that the hanging toys could be changed to keep baby stimulated. We got alot of use from the bumbo for both LO's. edited by BrownEyedGirl on 13/03/2011

Bought a bumbo and didn't really use. FP jumperoo was best money spent, DD loves it and has plenty to keep her entertained. LAMAZE toys sold at spinneys, waitrose, debenhams are great for out n about. They do socks and wrist rattles which are great for popping in the nappy bag.

Thanks for the recommendation Shaf! Read some good reviews on the Jumperoo and watched some you tube videos, the kids just love it and were happily bouncing away so will be getting one of these :) Apparently most kids like it for atleast few months.. until around they are 8-9 months old.. so really hoping DS does not get bored of it too soon! But still in two minds about the Bumbo with the tray..
