Thanks for all your replies. Its the beach resort and spa, not the Cove. That's why the dilemma as I have heard its nice but then so is Banyan tree and I am able to get them at the same price although Banyan is usually much higher. The feeling that Banyan is not very kid friendly is there but it looks like heaven and the fact that we may not get it at this price again! Anyone else? Any feedback from ladies who have been to Banyan?? Thanks!!!:)

I've already put my vote in for the Hilton Resort and Spa (make sure its the resort and spa though, not just the hilton) but thought I would just add since the cove is coming up in conversation- I thought the Cove's grounds were lovely, however the hotel rooms were just OK and the service was pretty dire. Would definitely choose the hilton over the cove for sure...

Definitely go for the Hilton Resort! Was there this weekend and it is great and has something for everyone. I selected it based on tripadvisor and the fact that it was actually cheaper than The Cove for this weekend..but was so happily surprised with what i saw. We got upgraded to a villa by the beach, and had a fabulous time. Great food, beautiful surroundings - a great weekend all in all. Last time I stayed at the Cove the service was HORRIBLE and it rained during the night and the villa was completely flooded :-S

In my opinion, the Cove Rotana isn't comparable to the Hilton Resort or the Banyan Tree - they are different price brackets and it shows. We have stayed at the Cove and really enjoyed our time there but it was not nearly as nice as the Hilton. If it is in your budget, Hilton is great for families. Have not been to the Banyan Tree but it didn't look quite so child friendly when we researched it (looked great for couples).

After our weekend away OH looked at the Cove and there are some really bad reviews ( Tripadvisor ). Not sure whether I would go there based on what we read yesterday. Still looking for our next weekend away thou.

We were at the Hilton Resort and Spa a couple of weeks ago with 2 kids and it was superb. Very set up for the children - and lovely for the adults too! Not been to Banyan tree so can't compare but to be honest - the kids were so happy at Hilton R and S that we would definitely go back there...... <em>edited by Clairehdp on 13/03/2011</em>
