EauZone at lunch time is so bad. I had lunch ther last week and could not believe how bad the food was.
I was also very desapointed with our diner at PierreChic.
Al Quasard (not sure of the spelling) buffet is really nice, very good food, and a nice view.
You might want to go to La Petite Maison in DIFC before heading to Art Dubai -- they have a terrace, it's a buzzy place for lunch and the food is DELICIOUS.
Also def try to take a taxi to Art Dubai as the parking is a bit tough (only available in the souk and usually full) but the art looks fantastic.
Nadia, try the EauZone at the One and Only - am not quite sure they're open for lunch, but they certainly have great outdoor seatings... and great food!
The Madinat has so many lovely Restaurants... you can sit outside Left Bank and eat.. they have a good menu and no need for rushing as your in the Madinat itself.
WaxMuch - I've been to BiCE but not the one in DUbai...nevertheless loved the food!! Do they have an outdoor terrace? Think it would be nice to dine el fresco.
simpleasabc - Do you know which ones stay open for lunch? We've been away from Dubai for four years and everything's changed so much!! Would like to opt for places tried and tested by you all.
I have always loved the Onle & Only but have only always been for brunch....anything else other than the Beach Grill?
One of the many restaurants in the Madinat itself? We were treated to brunch at the Al Qasr the other day, and it was fantastic, I can't imagine that food in any of the restaurants there would be bad. I think I'd go for the Al Hambra, but I love patatas bravas!
Ooh, BiCE.
I must sound like a sales rep for them, but if you're in the Marina area, well worth a visit.

Phone tonight to book for tomorrow. :)
The Beach bar and grill in the one and only Palace is beautiful, and has great steaks, seafood, and you can sit on their lovely terrace, and it's about 5 mins drive from madinat.
Cousin and her husband are arriving tomorrow around noon and then have to be at the Madinat at 4pm for Art Dubai. We would like to take them some place nice for lunch but also some place which would be convenient given their schedule. They are both really into good food so need some nice suggestions please:)
