The samsonite is great, i leave it in my car so when out at friends i can put my DS down for a nap without worrying. Can get 2 types, standard pop up or one with a black out blind available from GoodBaby near Burjaman.

I have one. It is a Samsonite and never used. I will sell it to you half-price. I bought it in 2008 at the Babies R us in Festival City. If you are interested, let me know and I'll try to find out how much I paid for it way back when.

Just bought recently a travel cot for my DS from Baby Shop in Dubai Mall - Junior brand at 220 - 240 Dhs (sorry bought more stuff at the same time and don't remember exact price). Sturdy and nice off-white and blue colors. Travel matress for the cot at 90 Dhs. Best prices I saw around the shops. Didn't always see it on display but worth trying. The box weights about 13kg but you may be able to distribute the weight when travelling. HTH

Oh gosh - sorry, not sure! We bought ours about 3 years ago from there and I "think" (brain not working well at mo) it was around Dh300??? I think there's plenty of cheap options tho. Perhaps you could check out dubizzle?

Does anyone know where I can find a travel cot for my 11 mo? Would like something that doesn't weigh a ton but is stable enough that my monkey can't get out / destroy it.
