Advise on opticians please

DH was back in the UK last week and got his eyes tested, but they could not do the new glasses quick enough, so he needs to get them made up here, we have just spent 3 hours in Ibn Mall comparing opticians, but they all seem to offer different types of lenses, the frames are much of a muchness, can anyone please recommend a good place to get his new specs from, have come back a bit confused as to who would be the best to use! TIA!!
