Has anyone tried accupuncture for back pain and if so, can you recommend a good practitioner? I'm almost there but the pain is getting unbearable so any help would be greatly appreciated!

has you tried seeing an osteopath? I'm a total convert and Lauren from the Dubai Osteopathic Centre managed to sort out the echoes of my pelvic girdle pain in 4 sessions (my hip would click out and my lower back would completely seize up, so I was unable to walk or stand straight and in excruciating pain... not nice!)
