Just use another name and mobile number (I used my husbands) as a referral and you will be fine. They did not check that atnd delivered the next or same day without any issues. Great service!

Ah WaxMuch thatnk you so much for the info. Sounds like a brilliant service and conveinence is key as we both work some odd hours and many weekends. A couple of hours on a precious weekend that we do have free to get to RAK is a pain for us and we end up spending fortunes in MMI! I hear you re their reluctance to deliver to apartments, but I'd love to give it a go and see if they could be persuaded. We on a very low floor, our reception folk are brilliant and we're dead easy to find. May I be cheeky and ask for an intro? Wow! I just foung the centaurus website. I feel like its Christmas morning! :D Back in 2009, Time Out Dubai ran a competition in conjunction with Centaurus [putting the lie to whether the 'illegal' aspects of the business are even clandestine'> and I won a wine fridge. Christmas indeed. ;)

You need to be introduced before your first delivery. From memory I think they charge about AED 100 to deliver. The prices are more expensive than at Barracuda but it is convenient! Only slightly more expensive. And it's worth it. :D Yes, delivery is 100dhs. I've often put an order in first thing in the AM and have the delivery that afternoon. So convenient. Choice isn't as good as Barra' but there's still loads from which to choose. PS. Loopy Lotti: Centaurus reluctant to deliver to apartments btw, just so you know. :) PPS. As for legality, well, it's a bit of a grey area. Delivery from RAK to Dubai of alcohol, purchased by you, is illegal. But it's done. And a blind eye is turned [generally'> unless one is caught. I know, I know, weird application of the law, but then again, it's illegal for tourists to drink alcohol without a license and how do they even GET a license without residency/job? Weird.
