Or are there any tried and tested local brands?

I saw Mothercare has a reuseable nappy kit - has onyone tried those? I know them as 'terry toweling' nappies.

Any thoughts or advice please?

pampers during the day as they are light for them to crawl and walk around in. C4 brand at night as those are the only nappies that haven't leaked on me. Huggies when traveling as they'll hold more than pampers but not as bulky as C4 brand. Hope that helps.

neither. educate yourself about the NEW cloth options before you turn a cheek to them. most moms who use them wishes they had been more open minded from the start. a healthier, cheaper, more convenient option...believe it or not ;) we have never experienced diaper rash and havnt bought a single diaper since 3 mo old (he is now 18mo). google the benefits too (from other moms)...they tend to potty train earlier.

I like the pampers premium ones. Have had to use pampers regular twice on DS when they didnt have the premium in his size and both times it ended with nappy rash. I guess it's donw to the baby, it's skin and our own personal preference. Have been meaning to try the C4 ones, think i may just do so.

Pampers nappies seem heavily perfumed to me, and the one and only time we used them we had our one and only nappy rash. We do however use the pampers pull-ups, which don't smell as bad and are preferable to the huggies ones which have scratchy velcro sides.

huggies, pampers have a really weird chemical smell, ick, the smell drives me crazy! I've actually picked that up aswell....thought it might just be little one's wee that has a strong smell though... I use C4 nappies when I know he is gonna have his poo after a new nappy and on his way to have his veggies...(he is very predictable) and when he will only wear a nappy for about an hour before he goes for his bath....this way I dont use an expensive nappy for only an hour. At night I let him sleep with Pampers (might go over to Huggies now though)...But I am sure the C4 ones will be fine as well, they seem to be really strong. I recently started the orange no 3 pampers think its called play and sleep, but i find them to fill up much faster than the Green Pampers called Active Baby...so although they are cheaper I seem to be using more .......

I've switched to sanita bambi as well. They don't leak and cheap. I've also heard the C4 brand is better but haven't tried it.

I tried both Pampers and Huggies to see which I preferred and it was Huggies. Huggies are more absorbent but they do smell more than Pampers

When DD was younger it was a mix between Huggies and Pampers Premium and I found both brands really good. Now we only use Huggies and they are great, plus I'm too lazy to change even if it means saving money. A lot of women rave on about the C4 brand nappies, they're meant to be very good.

I have moved from pampers to huggies due to them leaking all the time. I thought that the case was solved but now these are leaking too. (not as often) They are correctly fitted and changed regular. He seems to pee an awful lot!!! I was considering trying a local brand. So what have been tried and tested for a scenario like this please if any?

Sanita bambi here.. never had a leak yet! Plus they come in giant cases.. like 63pcs in one and stuff.. and a whole lot cheaper than huggies or pampers!

I've always been happy with the C4 brand nappies. They are a lot less expensive and are much softer than Huggies or Pampers.
