He's moving to N9ne Medical Institute in Dubai. I've just left him and moved to another Dr that delivers at American as I didn't like City and didn't want to deliver there. I did really rate him though. He does scan all the time though as standard.

Dr raj at american doesn't scan at every appointment had one scan with her to confirm pregnancy, the rest are done by the specialist Scanner at 12,20 and 32 weeks.

all Obs seem very scan happy here, it's what they're used to - the UK ones will generally come from a background where they only dealt with high risk pregnancy as midwives manage low risk/normal pregnancies in the UK, so the doctor will be used to having to scan at each appt, there's a lot of women that want the reassurance of seeing the baby moving on the monitor as well so the docs just end up offering a quick look at every appt. machines in the clinic rooms are low resolution but if you don't want to be scanned each visit just say so, there's no need if everything is within normal parameters. as your pregnancy progresses you can count the kicks and learn what is normal for your baby. more info here... http://countthekicks.org.uk/advice/how-to-monitor-movements/ did Dr George say where he's going to be delivering?

Hi there. I had my first appointment with Dr. George at AH and both my hubby and I were very impressed. However, he told us he is is opening his own private clinic in September so he won't be at AH hospital anymore. Also it freaks me out that he might be offering scans every single appointment as I might opt for only the medically necessary scans. But this is a personal choice, of course.

So is there something wrong if your wondering ? I think only u can tell if your happy and trust him to be your ob. It's a personal thing. In my experience I'm having my 3 rd child with Dr Raj at the American, she delivered my 2 nd 2 years ago. If you've heard just excellent things and your happy stick with him. Good luck.
