Maiden name in passport, insurance card in married name = confused hospital
DH and I got married last year & i have had our marriage certificate attested by all parties. As we got married in the UAE I never got round to changing my passport name, hence his company took my maiden name passport and put my visa in as my maiden name, but then gave me my insurance card in my married name - i don’t know how they have managed this and don’t know why i have not flagged it up before!! Everything up to this point has been fine and dandy.
Im now 32+ weeks pregnant and went to register at the hospital last night and had a bit of a problem, they could not quite understand WHY my passport and all official IDs where in my maiden name but my insurance is in my married name – I mean I can understand where they are coming from…..
I know this is my own fault and i am kicking myself now!! But has anyone been in the same situation?? Any advice?
