I found Bepanthen (spelling?) ointment (not the cream) extremly good as it helps healing and is easier to wash off before feeding than most creams.

Hi all, I have 3 unopened tubes of Lasinoh (2 came free with another purchase) and 1 I brought back from the US. If anyone wants them, you can get them from me at the Marina-end of town. It truly was a life-saver in the early days!

DC my tip with the purelan/lanisoh (they are both pure lanolin so exactly the same thing), put it on your nipples right before you shower so it protects them from the water.

I got the Lasinoh cream from the American Hospital pharmacy 17 months back when I had my DS And stocked up for all my friends that time as it seemed the only place to have it If anyone else looking for it may worth a trip down there HTH Ditto. Only place I found it too.

Nope, no need to wipe off! (assuming you're not applying large amounts immediately before a feed, cos you wouldn't want baby swallowing large gobs of it or anything else - but you only need very small amounts for use anyway)

If you're in the UAE, you can buy Medela PureLan here (pharmacies and BabyShop), which is the same thing. Do you have to wipe this off before you feed? (email still not flamin' working!)
