Not too cold, and yes, loads of kids. Could be tourists however. Come to think of it, they probably were. Kids here are like their mums whining about the cold (weather and water)

went yesterday, JBR. The sea was cold at first impact, but once I got through that, it was really lovely. Not the 30+ bathwater you get in summer! Really refreshing. Lot's of kids, although the waves and current were quite strong.
