info on Latifa needed please
Hi ladies,
Im hearing more and more about this Latifa hospital, can someone please explain to me how it works, im currently trying to decide if I should stay here or go back to the uk for the birth of my 2nd child as I recently lost my full health insurance though work.
Im now covered up to AED 10,000 on my Axa insurance and im seeing a great Mid wife and Heath bay poly clinic and plan to deliver at city if I stay here, if everything goes to plan the package should cost about 15,000 at city so I would only have to pay around 5,000.
My husband wants me to go home as our friend recently had a baby at city with very little insurance and had complications – she had to have a c-section, is still in hospital and currently owes then about 60,000 but its goes up every day, he doesn’t want this to happen and doesn’t want to risk it,
What’s the difference between Latifa and a private hospital, would I have to go there all the way through my pregnancy? Do I have to register there? Is the standard lower than other hospitals? Would I still be able to have a epidural. Whats the cost for a normal birth?
Ive also heard I can register the baby there for injections etc – does anybody know the cost involved in that and again how it works?
