please head straight to one of the discount stores in Dubai... like Al Kabayal in Deira... or similar stores in Satwa or Karama... loads of dress up stuff there from cartoon character costumes, to profession costumes, etc. the costumes dont cost more than 30-50dhs each

H&M, I only learnt this one recently. Around AED 100 for a dress and they have lots to choose from. Look out for their sales as the dresses come down to about AED 20 or 30. If I see them in the sale I also buy the next size up. They wash in a 30 degree wash as well. Edited to say, I also watch out for Claires Accessories in the sale as well, often sell wands etc for AED10 or so. <em>edited by MirdifIngrid on 08/08/2012</em>

There's also a very large toy shop as you walk in the Metro side entrance to Ibn Batutta Mall. They have many costumes in there at reasonable prices.

Try Dubizzle or party shops. So it seems my 19month old has taken a liking to dressing up , when i pick her up from nursery she always has the fairy costume on :) can anyone recommend where i can buy dress up clothes from? i have seen some in ELC but not sure what kind of price they are. Thanks ELC not cheap here at all!
