Hi! Just picked up on this thread. Can you do this from amazon.co.uk? I have just set up an address with the PO Box number, is this what other have done? I'm not sure how to set up a shop and ship account as can't see that option but am I to understand that this actually works out as more expensive than using amazon own? Does everything arrive?! Thanks!

whatever i am choosing they say the item cannot be shipped :( Hi angel joy, Make sure the items you choose are new items, and it says 'Ships from and sold by Amazon.com.' under the price. I didnt have any problem - if you like let me know which items you want and I'll check for you.

If you choose items that are shipped by Amazon directly and not by a supplier to Amazon (the "choose from these suppliers" icon does not come up), then they deliver direct to your door here. They're pretty quick too. ETA Amazon are definitely a better bet for baby toys than shop and ship, unless you are wanting very light items. And at least you know upfront the shipping costs - shop and ship send parcels one by one at minimum of AED41 and it doesn't take much weight to multiply that amount by5. edited by Aryanwynn on 13/10/2012 Got it, thanks!

Unfortunately, sometimes even if it's Amazon, the order can be split into few shipments as they are fulfilled in different warehouses/states. I did happen to me few times, but I still love shopping with Amazon - it's so much cheaper and better selection :)

So I was looking at prices online for toys, and I'm surprised it comes to cheaper than Dubai, even with shipping! For instance, I really like the Fisher Price Precious Planet projector mobile for DD's cot, but 400dhs seemed alot for a mobile (this is the price at Toys R Us)! I checked on Amazon.com, it's $49.50 and with shipping included it's coming to less than 200dhs! Going to be doing alot of online shopping tonight for DD :) Has anyone else used Amazon for their baby purchases?
