It’s our two year wedding anniversary today and I took one (followed by a 2nd and a 3rd test to confirm!) and it’s official – we’re pregnant! It’s so early so I can’t tell anyone just yet, but I actually want to shout it from the rooftops!

A friend just miscarried at three months though, so I’m aware of how fragile it can be at this stage… But ohhh, I am just so excited and hope it all goes smoothly!

I delivered with dr Jozsa in City. He is in Healthbay Clinic. I can highly recommend him. He is a very good dr, listens to you, easy to have appointment with, no hours waiting and answers the phone if you have any concerns. And he always does US scans every time you go and always prints out pictures of the baby. :-) Can anybody help me find a nice Dr? I went for a scan last night at the local clinic and did not like the Dr. Found her lacking when it came to offering up information and she didn't print out any pictures for us of the scan. Also from the measurement she told me I'm 8 weeks and 5 days, but she could not give me an EDD. Guess she didn't want to take the time to do the calculations. I tried Dr Britt, but she is extremely busy and can only see me in Dec and I don't want to wait that long. I tried Dr Sant but she is not covered by our insurance. Any other recommendations please! Starting to get a bit desperate...

Congratulations!!! Beautiful news:-) I am happy for you. Wish you a very healthy pregnancy. Hope everything will be fine. Just try to stay positive, no matter what. ALWAYS think positive. And keep a bottle of water at hand when you are out. Dehydration is a really bad thing for you, especially now. It can trigger uterine contractions.

Hi ladies, thanks for all of your lovely lovely messages. Yes, we’re super excited! I had a lovely phone call with my parents and my sister today. I don’t think we’ll tell anyone outside that, just yet. Funnily enough, I booked an appointment with my ob-gyn about six weeks ago and the appointment is this coming Monday so it’s fantastic timing! SO many things to ask! Great tip about the thyroid hormone – really appreciate you mentioning that. Congrats to all the other pregnant ladies as well. How exciting! Wishing you all the best for your bundles of joy xxx

congratulations waterbaby :D been through this stage last year...as soon as i was confirmed by doc too that everything is fine i came and posted on the forum here. needed to share the news badly. but i didn't had to wait till the end of 3 month as right from day 1 i had severe nausea and tiredness. all my friends here gathered that i am pregnant :)

Congratulations waterbaby!! I'm in the same boat as you. Have known for about 10 days and haven't been able to keep it to myself. So far we've told our parents and I've told a couple of my close friends. Like TDB says if something does go wrong, you'll need their support. I'm having my first scan this evening and am soooo excited!! Looking forward to finding out how far along I am so I can figure out my EDD.

Congrats as well! It is very exciting. When I was in that situation I had to tell my closest family. If you can wait a bit longer, then wait. It doesn't hurt to check your thyroid hormone during pregnancy. It can change when you are pregnant and this could cause a mc. I don't want to scare you, it is just an advice and I would recommend it. I had to request it and it was good that I did it, cause the hormone was too low.
