Anyone started IVF/ICSI this wk/ month?
Am on Day 3 and already feeling panic-stricken. This is my fourth attempt but first time in Dubai. Last attempt was three yrs ago and had decided on 'never again'. Now it seems it's all just happened so fast and it's only today dawned on me what this actually means....had very happily erased any memories of the last three failed attempt from my mind. I am generally a pretty happy and optimistic person...still am I guess, only don't have my close friends here and well have decided this time not to tell anyone anyway.
So came here in the hope of finding someone to 'talk' to through this roller coaster which will last about a month.
I'm on short protocol for the first time. Have started decapeptyl and follitrope injections and tonite will be starting menopur....the fantastic news in all this is the fact that since I am useless at injecting myself (once during our second IVF attempt I stormed out of the house in the morning and took the injection with me telling my husband I don't need him and could do it all by myself only to whimp out in the office toilet willing my self to do it but not managing at all. Ended up calling my husband who very calmly told me to come out as he was waiting in my office car park to be of service should the very capable woman need him! Arrrrggghhhh!) uh where was I...oh yes the fantastic news is that hubby will have to come home every evening at a reasonable time to give me the injection. So will be seeing more of him. Yeaaaaah!
