I moved to Dubai at 34 weeks pregnant from Qatar - we just got copies of our medical records, and there was no problem switching, even at that late stage.

You will have to take all your blood test results, scan results and any other medical test results to the new doctor. Your old doctor's office will give you the documents without any hassles....shouldn't be a problem at all.

I wish I had but had already paid for a package so couldn't, unless I paid again with another hospital. I did however do my research. Just ask your current hospital/doctor for your medical file, including any scans etc that you have had done and take that with you to your new doctor. I was also told, that sometimes, even though you have a certain scan done, your new doc may request for you to do another. HTH :)

I changed docs in my first pregnancy (2 times) and every time I would ask old doc/hospital to give me the copy/originals of my medical history and would take it to my next doc appointment.
