You could also consider Dr Wael at Dubai Fertility and Gynae Clinic in Healthcare City. It's a government clinic and attracts a lot of local ladies, service can be slow but I think it's a little cheaper than the other places. Dr Wael is very patient, he takes about 1.5 hours in your 1st meeting to go through you & husband's life/medical history. He's very caring, extremely thorough, and is a real academic. He knows all the latest technique and does a lot of studies himself. You get the feeling you're not just a number as the money you're paying isn't going directly into his pocket like the other private clinics who treat you like you're just on a conveyor belt. Booking an appointment (just getting them to answer the phone) is not easy, they certainly have a bit of a local mentality, however if you persevere with the slow service, they're really great. Tel 04 4393832.
After a year of TTC with some hormone help I decided to start checking out the various fertility clinics and I have to say, I was extremely disappointed with FakihIVF. Not only was it hard to get in touch with them to book the appointment, when I got there I felt we were gathered like a herd of cows with an easy 1 hr wait for each appointment. Even if you go in with your medical records (as informed to them over the phone and by email) you dont see a doctor, you see a coordinator. Mine, before even going through all my paperwork, kept pushing for IVF straight away, no IUI, no tracking, just IVF. Then when I was going through my history, I have never felt so judged in my life (and it isnt even an exciting one). That was my experience, I have heard success stories (as expected) but I have also heard a lot of failures.
After speaking to numerous women, I have gone ahead with Conceive. Not only were they supportive but they are also less expensive with a great track record. Many friends have gone to him after numerous failed attempts at different clinics and have been successful from the first round. He goes through your body's nitty gritty and basically takes control to ensure that you are safe and ready to get successfully pregnant. There is no chit chatting. He's to the point which is what I wanted after a year of various doctors skimming the surface. "Just get in there and get it done" is where I am at. He will however answer your questions and explain things to you. That has been my feeling so far. This is a pretty personal subject so choosing the doctor and clinic that works best for you is so vital. If you take that route, you dont exactly want to waste precious time. Good Luck to everyone!

I had 3 IVF cycles at Conceive. I was lucky first time and had a daughter, followed by an unsuccesful attempt, followed by twins on the 3rd attempt. I now have a full house!
I would fully recommend them in terms of succes rate, quality of equipment and technology (we had ICSI IVF). What you don't get is bedside manner - you get clear, specific guidance without any sugar coating. We found that we didn't want to waste time on lots of options anyway, we felt we had limited time and wanted to find solutions that would give us the highest chance of success - so to us bedside manner was not important.
Good luck
I made an inquiry with Fakih as well as Conceived but we decided to go ahead with a clinic in Sharjah called New Hope Hospital.
We are also blessed with twin boys on our first try, now at my 27 weeks! My doctor was very nice and the staff is very supportive. Here's their phone number should you want to inquire, 06-525-4446.
I also would highly recommend Dr Fakih, they are so ahead in their technology plus have some of the highest success rates in the world now. My twin boys are lying on their play mat as I write this. We got lucky first time with them.
I personally would not recommend Conceive in Sharjah, we did two rounds with them before we went to Dr F and they were disastrous.
This is just my opinion :)

Hi,
I am personally going to Fakih. I have to say I think they are excellent. The clinic does get quite busy but the staff and the care you receive is fantastic. I really feel llike I am in good hands. I am in th emiddle of my second attempt at the moment and they are being so proactive. Hope that helps
:-)
