What did you do about them? Cause I have them too :(
Honestly - head to Lulu's Hypermarket next to MOE and buy the Mega Gel. It's the BEST thing and actually works!! We couldn't find anything that worked, and tried everything from Carrefour/Spinney's etc. So the trip to Lulu's was so worth it
I've had those teeny tiny ants too. In a high up apartment so I'm really confused. We already don't keep any open food so have no idea where they come from or what attracts them.

The only way to get rid of them is to call in Pest Control. Every year we get an influx of ants - very bad this year so we just had City Pest Control in. Sprayed whole villa and outside - good job. Not seen an ant since!
Have you tried lemon juice or lime juice sprayed all over? It's toxic free and it works. Skip chemicals please......
They're mostly on the kitchen bench tops. They are marble so I can't spray lemon or lime juice there.

We had the ants quite badly. Once it was the tiny ones you can barely see (sugar ants or maybe pharaoh ants? Not sure!) Then once it was the black 'outside' type ants. The spraying did work but yes they do come back eventually!! We used Lahej and Sultan but made sure we directed them and told them where to spray, inside and out in the garden.
I'm not sure if pest control really works for these ants, they are so tiny and can come from cracks in the window frames, walls etc. I have had them for a long time, sometimes there's a lot of them, sometimes just a few, can't seem to eliminate them completely. I sprinkled salt on the bottom of my kitchen cupboards and I have never seen any ants in them.
Tiny orange ones? I've heard them called sugar ants or tile ants and got them in kitchen, bathrooms (soaps) and even water cooler (sweet water?). Get pest control out - they'll put a gel everywhere that is not noxious and will dry by end of day - believe it's safe for pets and babies but check. Warning - didn't work for me first time and I still find them in kitchen cupboards so now use sealed Tupperware for everything as they still come back occasionally!
Try buying the ant poison in the little packs that you leave down for them to take back to the nest. Put ALL open food in sealed containers and preferably in the fridge. However, speaking from experience and without sounding negative, you really need to call a pest company as they can get really out of hand and it can get really upsetting coming down every morning to ants running all round your kitchen. They'll ask you to empty every single cupboard in the kitchen so they can gel your hinges and spray. It's a royal pain in the proverbial but well worth it. We've had to do it twice now but I'd rather that than put up with living with ants in my house. They're bad enough in the garden but no way do I want them in my house :-(
After being sprayed you need to leave it 24 hours before cleaning up. If any pets in the house you'll need to keep them locked in another room for that long too. After 24 hours just use dry kitchen roll to rub off the white powder, not wet washing as that gets rid of it. It's not poisonous to humans or pets once dry. I was a little bit perturbed the first time but we've done it twice and it's not killed me yet!!!!
