Hi, I recently tried to order from sephora online using my aramex shop and ship account. However, my order was cancelled. They said that they do not send orders to warehouses. Has anyone ordered from sephora? I have ordered from hautelook and nordstorm without any issues. Can't I use my aramex account for ordering things from Sephora?

Hi Flames, Sorry for your bad experience. I will get my package by the end of the week as per their website. Let me see how the experience is. Also, did you end up paying any customs? Nope, didn't get charged customs. The actual amount I paid for my order was around $150 ($138 with Ebates cashback) whereas the actual value was around $500 so I am not shocked that the customs held it up. Talk about a good sale :') The only real complain that I have is the fact only last week an action was taken by them. My package would have still been stuck if I hadn't called up Rosemarie and offered to send her the actual receipt. They didn't bother calling me or updating me the entire time other than requesting me for my Emirates ID. I have recommended them to so many people and definitely don't want people to go through what I did.

So I finally received one of my orders that was stuck at customs since the 8th of December 2015. I actually consolidated my Sephora order with this order so that I could see how their consolidation process works. TBH, I am not sure whether it is because of the peak season but my courier guy was very confused this time. He called me around 10 AM yesterday and said he has my package. I asked about my other package and he said he only has one to deliver. He re-confirmed my address and he said he will be there in an hour. 3 hours passed and he still wasn't here. When I called him up, he again asked me for my address again. Usually I receive an SMS stating the delivery charge but I didn't get it this time. So I asked him about the delivery charge and he said he will have to confirm at the office. He also mentioned that he was no longer in my city and thus will deliver after 4 PM. I called him up at 6 PM to enquire about his whereabouts and he asked me till what time would I be available at home. I told him I have been waiting forever for this package so will be here. He said he will definitely get the package delivered to me by that day. Finally at around 9 PM yesterday, I received one of my packages! I emailed Rosemarie today enquiring about the other package and she mentioned she will check on it and deliver it tomorrow. God, I have been using them since the past 2 years. I only had one terrible experience and that was with my first order since they were relatively new. After all that awesome experience in the past two years, this was the first time I have had an issue with my order.

However its not how much but the actual value of shipments. For instance, I ordered some makeup this cyber Monday and paid $150 for all but customs calculated the rate at $350. My package is stuck at customs since the past week. Rosemarie from Mybox promised me that they will deliver it by Thursday when I followed up today. TBH, this is the first time it happened so I can't say. Sometimes, it's just cheaper to pay customs than shipping Yes I know about the sale too. For anyone interested, the code is EXTRA20.

Hi Mommypie, You have access to brands that are not available in UAE when you shop on the US stores. There is a price difference and sometimes it is small and sometimes it is big. For eg: 1) Mac PRO PALETTE EYE SHADOW X 2 in US: 18 aed. In Dubai 55 aed 2) Mac EYE SHADOW REFILL PAN in US: 37 aed. In Dubai 95 aed 3) Thebalm Manizer sisters palette in US: 103 aed. In Dubai 200-230 aed I know the shipping charges are there, but since these are beauty supplies, they won't weigh too much. I would not recommend buying a single product from US and getting it shipped here as with the shipping charges, you will end up paying almost the same amount if you had just bought the product from Dubai. However, if you are buying a few items, then it may be worthwhile. Also, a lot of the sites have promos and coupon codes. I saved abt 30 dollars when I bought from the Tarte website. Also saved abt 20 dollars using coupons on Sephora. Also, whatever I buy from TheBalm website today will be at a 50% off. This is an extension of their Cyber Monday sale. Hi Flames, I got my Hautelook order just now. They arrived in good condition and the shades are beautiful.

I order from them all the time via MyBox. Till date, I haven't had any issues. My order gets shipped within 2 days, reaches my MyBox address in 2-3 days and reaches me here in Dubai in another 3-5 days. Btw, I always use Ebates (http://goo.gl/kpYaLg) to get cashback on all of my online orders. They pay me back via Paypal every 2 months. Plus they list all the ongoing promos/discount codes on their page for additional savings. Sometimes the main website doesn't advertise the deals and I find them either through Ebates or Nouvea Cheap/Hip 2 Save. Highly recommend them! Oh MyBox has free sign up this month - https://mybox.postaplus.com/ I have a Shop&Ship account as well but I moved to MyBox as it was a) cheaper b) faster c) none of my orders have gotten cancelled yet :') Rates are AED 30 for first half and AED 25 for every half kg after the first Oh I do not work for them....just very happy with their service :D Tip - For all my orders, I put my MyBox address as the billing and shipping address. If your billing address is different than your shipping address, then it flags up on their system. I mean our account number is already included in the address. Hi, That's something they started recently. IMO, it doesn't make a difference (to us). I didn't notice any changes with the processing time yet. So it's upto you to do so. Anyway, what did you order? Sephora US is quite addictive. I had an issue with one order.... Actually the size quoted was incorrect (manufacturer's mistake) but they still refunded me the full amount plus tax and didn't request me to return the item. Excellent customer service! Plus they always have great samples and freebies!

Hi Sarah, My hautelook order has not yet been shipped to my address. It has only reached my ship and shop account. I ordered on Nov 19 and it takes almost a month to get your stuff. This is not bad though, considering the savings you get. Check out the 80% off sales they have every now and the. Their shipping is high, but when you compare them to the prices in Dubai, it is fine. Also, sorry about Ulta. I hope that they allow international payments soon. :) Thanks :-)

Hi venita6 thanks for posting my thread! Just an update, my Ulta transaction went through but the next day I got an email my order is cancelled, when I contacted them they said that my card linked to Paypal was outside US - they figured it out grrrr! I was successful is placing an order with my USA Paypal on Walgreens.com though, they usually have good beauty offers like 20% off everything, but not as much selection as Ulta.com Also, sometimes they split and send shipments which is SUPER annoying because I have to pay as 2 different packages. I use Borderlinx to ship from USA and they consolidate my packages so it's still cheaper than had I used Aramex Shop and Ship. I dont have experience with My Box.

Hi Flames, A small query. Will MyBox deliver to your place or do you need to go and collect it from their office? Also, for those who are interested, my Hautelook order has been delivered to my Shop and Ship account. I will recieve it within a couple of days. Are the bags on Hautelook real as the prices are fab!
