Thanks a lot for the replies ladies. I went to one gyeacholigist i will consider going to another for another opinion . My gyneacholigist spoke about the ring pessary but i had to buy them and try which ine fits . That was a delima as 2 so far was nit the right size and stillhave to buy more ti try , which i find rediculous . One ring coasts 300 dhs so i might try several to see . Do u know a dr that has the sample sizing of rings for that ( like it should usually be) ? Usually its the dr who fits and tells u the size as there are about 10 sizes ???

Hi , I can't answer the question that you asked but have a few comments. 1. One of my relatives has a few severe prolapses(bladder and rectal, hysterectomy so no uterus), but she wasn't a candidate for surgery for several reasons. She has managed to deal the prolapses in other ways. This has been going on for a few years. I gather from my reading some time ago that there are a number of different ways to do the surgery with varying success rates. I only mention this to make sure that before the surgery you are clear about options and success rates. Also not sure whether you consulted a gynacologist. If you haven't it might be helpful to discuss options with a good gynacologist, who might also be able to recommend a good surgeon for this procedure. I have only been to one gynacologist here (Dr, Rosalie Sant) who I thought was excellent. 2. I know one of her friends had a lot of success with ring pessary, for sometime and has not had surgery. Good luck with everything.

I had that surgery and more with Dr. Ibrahim at City Hospital. I was very happy with him as a doctor and with my experience at City Hospital. That was 6 years ago, so I don't know if the hospital has changed very much. I saw him a few months ago, so I know he is still there.
