For those of us who were fortunate enough to get a free place this morning…..
It was fabulous!
I had a really great time. There must have been about 40 to 50 ladies there. Did you all enjoy that? It was almost 12 noon when I had to go inside the Academy.
Thank you to Nikki who was one of the organisers I believe. I am quite sure there are a few others but I didn’t catch their names. Did everybody had a good time? Just wondered how many people are going to take up golf after this?
Thank you SO much Expatwoman for arranging this and meeting other ladies.

I was surprised to find that the women at the coffee morning had no knowledge of the forum and the host claimed to not even know there was one !! lol I guess it's a different type of woman - the ones who go to the coffee mornings use EW as an information web site and aren't forum "types".. the coffee mornings are great but I wouldn't recommend you go on your own - most of the women are regulars and it can be very cliquey. In my case once the host had taken my money and given me my name sticker I didn't see her again !!

nastya13 I don't know how to bring your message to mine to reply but so glad you enjoyed it too!! I would like to add that its wonderful that EW arranges outings for members and non-members. On another matter. I took it for granted that we all go to Coffee Mornings every now and then. On the return from the golf outing, I shared a taxi with someone from UK who prefers not to attend Coffee Mornings. Why is this? Distance? Costs? Clicky group(s)? Prefers their own company? I tend to do that. Stay in, listen to Dubai Eye, keep up with correspondence, go to the gym, go shopping and pretend I am overwhelmed with housework!! In the long run, it’s best to get out there and meet people. Anyone agree? So thank you to Expat Woman for arranging outings to get interested women out and about!

Another special thanks goes to Lynn one of the organisers. I don't know who the rest of the organisers are, but I am sure those ladies who attended would like to join me in thanking everyone involved in this Golf Event. I wasn't paying much attention but I thought everyone dressed appropriately for golf. What was amazing was my team of four had a hole in one, all in the same hole as well! Here's me who hardly play or know much about golf to play. xx
