Dear Ladies,
Im a single mum, I got a job in Dubai from next september I want my son to go to school in Dubai. I have checked many schools, the prices seems very horroristic and I heard the quality is not as good as expensive they are. Im looking for a descent and not expensive school for my son, who is 13 yrs old.
He is not fluent English, does he need an exam to pass or we just start the 8th class? Schools dont answer to my emails... Im desperate coz Im worrying how can I find a good place for him. Any answer wourld be useful. Thank you Ladies!

Congratulations on your job and move to Dubai Agnes :) I bet you are excited, although possibly somewhat overwhelmed I am sure. There are lovely people on here who I am sure will give you the support you need to get settled. Is your son going into Year 9 in September? My friend has also just moved to Dubai and applied for Dubai British School in the Springs for their daughter (where my son goes) as they are still taking applications for Year 9 at the moment. Might be worth getting in touch. We really couldn't be happier with the school and how well my little one is getting on :)

As there are French schools, German.. And the tuition is less then the UK and American curriculum. The best thing is to call the schools directly.

Hi, It might help if you mention what annual fees range is within your budget?
