Anyone could point me to the actual written law or regulation about giving birth without being married? And / or recommending me a gynecologist who is familiar with these. I have non-trivial questions.

If you are not pregnant, not planning on getting pregnant and you are married, then the reasons for asking is probably more of a legal matter. I would consult a lawyer or family lawyer who understands the law rather than a health professional.

Well even if someone gave birth here, without being married and having an attested marriage certificate, you could not get a birth certificate for the child, therefore no passport etc etc.

Thanks. I am aware that it is against the law. What I was trying to ask for is the written legislation (or if not online, then a gynecologist who could show it to me) on single pregnancy. For avoidance of doubt, I am not pregnant, neither planning to get divorced.

I also read that if the child is born less than 180 days from the marriage certificate then said child will not be given a birth certificate and the matter is referred to the court

Unfortunately it is illegal to be pregnant without being married here in the UAE, there isn't anyway around it. The friends I know that it happened to has had quick weddings or gone back home. There is a jail for mothers and babies here in Dubai ☹️

The law is about adultery. In the GCC adultery is having s exual relations outside of marriage. You are not married, you are pregnant, ipso facto, you have committed adultery. There is no way around this unless you can produce an attested marriage certificate acceptable to the authorities.

As far as I know it is against the law to have a baby outside of marriage, Due to it being illegal I think you will struggle to find anyone who would recommend a gynecologist who can help as they would get in trouble too. I fear the only option is to return to your own country to have the baby.
