Hi,
I am 19 weeks pregnant with my first child. I have been trying to read up as much as possible, but the one thing I am still not settled with is the doctor and hospital.
My fertility doc doesn't delivery and I have had 1 visit with Dr Yamini Dhar in Al Zahra. The hospital is very near and convenient for me, but I have some queries and want suggestions. (Just yesterday someone expressed her doubt about Al Zahra)
- Has anyone delivered at Al Zahra with Dr Yamini? Can you please share your experience?
- How was the delivery and hospital facilities?
- Did anyone attend the antenatal classes? (I called the hospital several times but never heard back from the nurse)
- How can I find out about the delivery and post delivery care? Can I ask for a tour?
- Did you make any birth plan and was your wishes followed?
Please feel free to post your suggestions if your have any besides the questions I raised.
Thank you

Two friends delivered there. Both with DR Yamini. Once had a natural birth, the other caesarean. Both were very happy and they didn't attend any antenatal classes

Hi! I delivered my second child in al zahra with dr Yamini. I had very good experience with hospital and a doctor. One of my best experience in post delivery care. Nurses were the best and they were there for me and baby any time. I didn't take antenatal class, but we did a tour before delivery. We got all information that we needed in this tour. I didn't have any birth plan, not for my first and not for my second child. My only wish was to deliver fast as posible and with less pain as posible:-))). Both times I had very good expirience
