I'm asking for a friend - are there any counselling or therapy clinics in Dubai that don't charge an extortionate price per hour? Perhaps group sessions that are free/cheaper? I have a good friend who's struggling with his grief after a loss in his family back home and I want to help any way I can

I would recommend Lighthouse too- have heard good things about them... or Lifeworks. There's a lot of things online that can help too- lots of resources on sites from UK and Aus... you should be able to find with a bit of googling.

I've had good experience with Lighthouse Arabia, but they're not the cheapest. If your friend is able to get a referral through a GP, insurance might cover the cost, I believe.
