I have often wondered about this. I always thought that the D stood for Dubai!!! Not used to talking about OH with such affection as 'Darling' lol As in Dubai Husband?? AKA my Sugar Daddy? LOL

I think the "D" can stand for dear, darling...or da&%ed - depending on the context... haha ;) In many cases the D in DH is often di@khead ;) DH = D!ck Head ?

Thanks for posting this, it clarified a few things for me too! :) For me ETA always meant estimated time of arrival so was struggling with that one... That's what working in the airline industry does to you! I am with you on that one. Happy for you you got out as well :). Ow maybe you didn't... edited by Eva B. on 14/04/2011 I did! I am fairly new here and I come across so many abbreviations, that, somehow I learned what they mean. But I really don't know what word they stand for. It seems like every family member has a 2 letter shortcut. Who's up for making the list?
