@BellaBella, can you tell me more about the botox for excessive sweating? Does it stop the sweating entirely or does it just reduce it?

An injection on the face scares the **** out of me though otherwise I have had quite a few major surgeries lol!!! Did you have general anaesthetic for your surgeries? I've only had one surgery and wouldn't mind having another one ;) I felt great, so RELAXED after the GA, it's a shame it only lasted 48 hours... hehehe

As a person who has never had botox, that price is much cheaper than I imagined botox to be. And, how often would one have to get full face? And, if I get it done, does it have a spring back and become even saggier effect? Or can you stop and there are no adverse effects? Thank you for any advice! I suffer from excessive sweating so I have botox injections in my underarms 3 times a year, it's very effective on me, I don't think I would survive living here without it. When I first moved here I was reluctant to have it done locally, so I reduced it to once a year and only had it done back home. but my sweating became unbearable and had to find a local doctor here to have it regularly cause it takes about 3-4 months for the nerves to become active again. I actually read reviews on here and went to Dr A Rezai. I've been using him since and am very happy. I asked to have botox on my face and he refused, he said I don't have the indication for it. apparently if one has botox in areas with no indication, with time the muscles will droop and look heavy. it was a breath of fresh air, hearing him saying no I don't need it. I've never experienced this before, not even back in UK.

I was reading some reviews on a forum about Radiesse and many felt it did not last as long. Someone was telling me about some type of outpatient procedure now ( in the USA) where they use your own fat for the fillers and it looks fantastic ( not that puffy look). I just emailed her for the proper name but maybe some of you here have some feedback ? OP - I would be very wary of the low cost "deals" in regards to this here. A lot can go wrong and especially around the eye area the consequences of using someone unskilled can be devastating. Dr. Jaffer Khan is excellent as well as Dr.Hoshney - though he only comes here every few months

Are women here afraid to talk about Botox? I have no shame in loving the appearance botox gives me. So if anyone else out there has recommendations or suggestions about where to go or who to see please let me know. Thank you! Not At All. I had it done for the first time, 10 weeks ago with Dr Allen Rezai in Dubai Healthcare City I was petrified at first but the doctor was lovely and waited for the anaesthetic cream to numb my face before starting. I also had fillers in my lips, OMG, I felt that, but it was all worth it and I will def. have both again with Dr Rezai, That is if he doesn't run a mile when he hears I'm coming ;)

Thank you for your response! I guess I will either have to pay up or wait till I go back home. bummer! But thank you for the suggestions for doctors, I will look them up! :) I am a fan of Radiesse fillers but here they are 2500AED My friend at home has trained to do them and she only charges cost which is only 3750 huge difference. Cobone does sometimes have offers and I did see one for Dysport recently which was reduced but i called the clinic and a dermatologist administers the product and i am wary of letting them do it here

HI, I AM NEW TO DUBAI AND JUST MOVED HERE FROM THE UNITED STATES. I HAVE BEEN CALLING AROUND PLACES IN DUBAI FOR BOTOX PRICING AND IT SEEMS LIKE EVERYONE CHARGES PER AREA INSTEAD OF PER UNIT. IN THE UNITED STATES I ONLY PAID $10-12 PER UNIT AND ONLY GOT 20 UNITS. DOES ANYONE HAVE A CONTACT FOR BOTOX HERE IN DUBAI? I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT! THANK YOU. It is really expensive here. Prepare to pay anything from 1500-1800AED for full face Stay away from the cheap places as they use watered down stuff The only 2 surgeons I have used here are Dr Rezai at Dubai Healthcare City. He uses Allergan Dr Khan who uses Dysport which is the best one I have mine done when I visit home as it is half the price of the UAE
