I am looking forward to my parents silver jubilee anniversary next month, wanted to plan a get together party with all our close ones. Can anyone give me suggestions for the venue with good ambiance and less expensive?

Sometimes it's nice to do an activity as well. When my parents celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary we started off in a Hotel, then had a guided tour around the Van Gogh museum and ended the evening with dinner on one of the canal boats in Amsterdam. Obviously I'm not suggesting your fly your family to Europe. But, perhaps you could find a (cultural) activity that you could do to get the day started? Or even a workshop? It is nice to do things as a group and it will create a long lasting memory of a special day together.

Right, actually I was considering it on a cruise also. But since the occasion is very special, I feel really confused. So I just thought that if I could get some good and thoughful suggestions here that would make the occasion worth it, it would be really helpful :)

there are so, so many options. all of the hotels will happily host a private party. Do you want to be outside? You could hire a dhow and do a party on a dhow cruise. The golf clubs do beautiful outdoor parties. Best thing for you is to think about which location suits you best and call the food and beverage departments for thier party packages. Most of the hotels also offer drinks packages which work out pretty well. I love organising parties! enjoy!

thanks for the suggestion, last time we had a party in QD's near the Dubai Creek Golf Estate, that proved to be an very good experience. It would be a good help if someone could name a venue for me :)

My aunt and uncle have just celebrated theirs on the creek...there's lots of options all along the creek.Theirs were on the Dubai Creek Golf Estate...don't know the budget,but the venue was perfect... and view too.
