Hi Ladies,

Do you know of any other Dubizzle type sites in which I can advertise our car for sale?

Getting quite a few crazy people calling me from Dubizzle... :-/

Thanks :-)

Hello fellow forum members, I hope this message finds you well. I'm currently in the process of selling my car in Fujairah, UAE, and I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences or recommendations regarding the best car buyers in the area. I've heard there are several options, but I value real-world experiences from the community. If you've recently sold a car or know of a reputable car buyer in Fujairah, please share your insights. I'm looking for a hassle-free and fair transaction. Your guidance will be immensely helpful as I navigate through this process. Thanks in advance for your assistance!

The UAE has it's own Autotrader, so you can advertise there. Also what is really useful, head to autocheck.ae - put in all your cars details, as much info as you can, and it will tell you the value of your car and how much you should be selling it for. It even gives breakdown prices of what a dealer would offer you, private sale etc etc. On your advert put 'strictly NO time wasters, the advertised price IS the final price and is NOT negotiable' - usually gets rid of the tri-hards.

If you are a genuine seller and not in a big hurry to sell, when you list it on Dubizzle, don't include your phone number, just your email. Post the maximum amount of photos, and list any problems or added value features on there, and screen through the emails. 8 out of 10 people are either used car dealers or bottom fishers or flippers, they want to make a profit off you, so depending on your circumstance, you may or may not want to deal with them. I have sold 3 cars in the last 3 years via Dubizzle, there are genuine buyers out there, but you have to screen through a lot of ridiculous offers first so email will help reducing your chances of getting a stroke from the callers :D (assuming you priced your vehicle within current reasonable market rate). Good luck!

What about posting notices at Spinneys and Park n'Shop? The boards there get lots of traffic.
