A friend has found a large duck at on Al Hamra Golf Estate in Ras al Khaimah. We have not been able to find the owner. If you know of anyone who has knowledge of keeping ducks, a garden and access to water for the duck to bathe/swim in that can give this ducky a home any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

The quote goes something like this.... "Treating all animals with dignity, respect and care is an essential part of a spiritual life"

Thank you Keepitsimple. Ducky now has a idyllic home, a vast, peaceful date farm with a large pond, lots of ducks, chickens and cats in a peaceful environment beneath the RAK mountains. An animal does not need to be a 'pet' to warrant a safe, secure and appropriate home but it does need a suitable environment.

Duck are not permitted on Al Hamra Golf course. I have a house there so know the club well. This one was just found close by and is presently being treated by a vet for a minor wound. Fortunately, I remembered someone I know who has a date farm with a large pond and ducks so the duck has a home.

Bring the duck back where you found it. Chances are it belongs there. A golf course IS a garden with access to water. Ducks are no pets!
