i love eye makeup but with so many brands its hard to choose.can any one help me if channel ,mac,est laud etc which one is best for eye shades and pencils?also i have been using clinique superbalanced makeup for awhile.now i want to change ,i am looking for sheer dewy makeup than matte finish.

I love Illamasqua's liquid metal and their eyeliners. Their lipsticks are matte and stay on but you need to make sure your lips are in good condition too. Alex Box who is behind the Brand is amazing!! They have a great make up artist here in Dubai called Zahra.

I'm not big on lip makeup, but lurrrve eye makeup and for me, it's always MAC. Love the range of vibrant colours ..they show up on your skin exactly how they ought to, not a pale, lame version!

I love NARS but find it hard to get here. Laura Mercier isn't available so I stock up on it in London. I find Bobbi Brown and Chanel lipsticks are good as well.

I'm a make-up addict from way back! he he My faves at the moment are Nars and Make up for Ever brands. Nars has a lovely foundation called Sheer Glow and Chanel's ProLumiere is really good too if you're looking for a slightly dewy finish. MAC is good for eyeshadows and pencils, great range of colors. Try Artdeco they are in VaVaVoom Mirdif and Arabian Center and in Debenhams Sahara. The girl in Mirdif worked for Clarins in the UK thay do free caviar facials in their beauty room and the make up is not expensive at all. An eyeshadow is only 39dhs and the same quality as dior and lancome.

Ive been using bobbi brown and i swear by it! foundation is supa light and lasts for ages... i bought a whole range for my wedding and i use the eyeshadow everyday for work and it lasted over a year...i got married in July 2009 and the liquid eyeliner pot is still going! for hygiene i should prob bin it lol
