I have recently opened my online shop after many months of planning, taking photos and wasting time and money on a wrong application at the beginning.

My intention is to sell online only, however I would like also to attend some of the bazaars in order to introduce my website address to customers so if they buy from me in the bazaar and they wanted to buy more, they can go to my website and order again.

I have booked a table at the Feline Friends Christmas bazaar in Abu Dhabi on 15 November and another table on the following Friday at another bazaar organized by Armenian community at the beach club in Abu Dhabi as well. I am really keen in attending more bazaars which are held on a weekend but I don't know who are the organizers of these events?

Flea market is not an option as it gets over crowded and it is for used items. And I have not contacted Art Market as to my knowledge, they take only people who makes handmade items and not all my items are handmade.. Even though I saw many people who sell things that are very obviously not handmade.

I also contacted some ladies who organize big events but the booking of a table with them is AED 5,500 and this is really expensive for the items that I sell. I sell jewelry, mobile accessories, scarves, leggings.. I advertised on facebook in the past couple of months and even though I got so far more than 5000 likes, the selling is not that good comparing to the number who like the FB page and leave comments.

I am going to try advertising on google as it seems others succeeded when they advertised on it but I still want to attend some bazaars to meet clients personally.. Any ideas?

Not sure if Sharjah is any use to you but Sharjah English School has a winter fayre on 22nd nov and people can book tables to sell their wares. SES Winter Fayre We are looking for a variety of stallholders for this event. Stalls are Dh 50 for parents of children at the school, Dh 100 for those who have home-run hobbies (i.e. non–corporate businesses) and Dh 150 for corporate businesses (i.e. have a trade license to operate in the UAE).

A lot of the schools will start having their fairs from October, so maybe you can try selling there? This was posted few days back. http://www.expatwoman.com/forum/topic211851-upcoming-fairs-and-events-for-new-vendor.aspx edited by terrible_twos on 15/09/2013

There are two weekly markets in which you can book a table for AED 100- 200 only as long as your product is handmade. One is ARTE and they have bazzars in Times Square and festival city. The other one is Ripe Market in Courtyard in Al qouz. Good luck with your business
